Jennifer Lawrence must feel like the prettiest girl at the Hollywood ball right now.
Lionsgate and 20th Century Fox have reportedly settled a potential conflict over the actress’s dance card so both can use her in their respective popular film franchises.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequel to Fox’s “X-Men: First Class” will begin shooting in January 2013, so Lawrence — who played shape-shifter Mystique in the superhero movie — will be available to film the sequel to “The Hunger Games” this fall.
Lawrence will get into Katniss Everdeen mode in August or September when “Catching Fire” is set to begin production, according to THR. (Whether or not director Gary Ross will return for the sequel, which is slated to be released in November 2013, remains to be seen.)
So, a potential issue for Jennifer Lawrence has been resolved. But what a fantastic issue for the “it” actress to have.
